          We were delighted to have staff and students get involved and hold a wonderful event: ‘Past Muslim Scientists’ - an exhibition of Muslim contribution to the modern world, with both community members and year 11 students taking part.

            2018 Manchester Arabic School, Chorlton

            We were delighted to have the staff and studens take part in the festival's Launch and Musical Finale with their beautiful performance of Dabka. 

            MACFEST Founder and Director, Qaisra Shahraz presented a trophy to Headteacher Munira Alsusa and the school children and staff who took part in the festival.

              2018 The Bosnian Supplementary School

              We were delighted to have Bosnian school children perform at the MACFEST Launch event. The school showcased the  tradition and culture of Bosnia and Herzegovin.

              MACFEST Founder and Director, Qaisra Shahraz presented the school with a trophy to celebrate their  involvement and dedication to  the festival.

                We were delighted to have staff and students from the Independent Islamic School for Boys in Manchester get involved in Macfest 2018.

                We were delighted to have the children of Cheetham Church of England Community Academy present their work on refuge and safe places at MACFEST 2018.  

                The students discussed important issues that are at the heart of the festival's mission.

                  2018 Abraham Moss Community School

                  Abraham Moss Community School hosted a fantastic exhibition at the Inclusion Centre. 

                  The school children presented a fascinating exhibition about Pakistan and gave performances to staff and parents. We got the chance to talk about the festival and the importance of celebrating Muslim arts and culture.
