Baroness Sayeeda Warsi became the youngest peer in Parliament in 2007 and in 2010 the first Muslim appointed to a British cabinet.
 

Consistently voted one of the world's 500 Most Influential Muslims, she is a lawyer, businesswoman and campaigner, Pro Vice Chancellor of Bolton University, Advisor to Georgetown University, Washington DC and Visiting Professor at St Marys, the oldest UK Catholic university. She resigned from Government over Middle East policy: in 2017 publishing her first book: 'The Enemy Within: A Tale of Muslim Britain'.
